Please read the following terms and conditions so that you understand all the enrolment options and the respective conditions of each enrolment type.

A Posture/Movement Screen may apply, except to those with adequate training and gym environment experience with no injuries or physical issues. A $60 consult fee applies.

All program enrolment and visit card contracts will rollover into a further period of the same length after the initial contract period has lapsed or all visits used, unless cancellation is made in writing or via email by the member to 1BraveMonkey@gmail.com a week before expiry. The member will be subsequently be invoiced for the next period at that time to allow the club sufficient time and resources to proceed with planning and organisation for the next period of training.

Missed/Late/Full session Policy - If you cannot make a session paid for then you may make it up at other session times at any time during the current contract period by ‘Early Cancelling’ the 1st session and re-booking a session. 24 hours’ notice for Early Cancels is required as per our Personal Training Policy and only subject to availability.               

Suspension or Termination Policy - If you need to suspend or terminate your enrolment it must be received by our office no later than the 7 days prior in writing or via email otherwise you will be invoiced for the next contract period. Suspensions must be for a minimum of seven days and be for legitimate reasons. ie. Health related, Grief, Holiday, or Work Travel. A $5 fee per suspension fee may apply each time. A longer suspension and to hold your session slots (as these will be strictly limited), may incur a $5 per session fee if sessions are already full.

Those clients needing a more flexible enrolment type (e.g. regular interruptions to weekly training) should purchase a Casual Visit Card instead. No Refunds.

Offer and Acceptance – Brave Monkey reserves the right to accept or reject the application for enrolment enrolment. These conditions apply to all services supplied by Brave Monkey to the applicant unless expressly varied in writing by Brave Monkey.

Referral Bonuses - A $40 amount will be credited to your account the month following your referral’s successful enrolment to be used only in our Merchandise shop or towards online program (limited to course only products - not included support services).

Privacy - The personal information that you provide to us may be used by Brave Monkey to assist in providing you with assistance.  Please contact Brave Monkey on this page if you would like to access or correct the information that we hold about you. Brave Monkey abides by the relevant National Privacy Principles of the Privacy Act 1988. Payment Terms – All fees are to be paid in Australian dollars, free of exchange and without deduction of any kind. Regardless of whether services are used or not all fee payments shall be payable on the 1st of each month during the period of the contract. Regardless of any claim or dispute with Brave Monkey, the applicant shall not be entitled to withhold payment of any amount due.  

Acknowledgment of Client Obligations and potential risk of injury or death - All Brave Monkey services including sessions, events, health checks etc are conducted \ issued on the condition that Brave Monkey and its servants and agents shall be under no liability to you (or your representatives) for any injury or death or for any loss or any damage to property in any way occurring whilst you are upon the property or venue of Brave Monkey or using any of its facilities and whether caused by negligence, default or misconduct of Brave Monkey or its servants or agents or any other person acting with the authority of Brave Monkey. You participate at Brave Monkey facilities and programs at your own risk and upon the above the terms and conditions. The Applicant will not make any claim of any nature whatsoever against Brave Monkey for any failure to carry out any of its services due to stoppage, delay in transport, break-down of machinery or accident of any kind. This includes any default or delay by any Brave Monkey suppliers or sub-contractors, riot, political or civil disturbances, the elements, act of God, any act of any State or Government or any authority or any other cause or any nature whatsoever directly beyond Brave Monkey’s control. The client guarantees that all the information they have supplied Brave Monkey is true and correct and any dishonour here warrants a breach of contract and shall entitle Brave Monkey to terminate this contract immediately and take any action which may be necessary in order to protect its interest.  The client agrees that they are fully able both mentally and physically to partake in exercise as part of the Brave Monkey program. The client acknowledges that all questions have been answered correctly on the ‘Adult Pre-Exercise Screening Tool’ forms supplied OR if a child their guardian/parent divulged any conditions or medications to Brave Monkey staff. The client has also sort approval from the relevant medical professional as required. If you the client have been instructed by ‘Brave Monkey’ staff to seek a written letter from your health professional (e.g. doctor or physio) on joining our services or at any other time to verify and acknowledge you are medically fit and able to partake in our services, then you shall do this immediately within a week of the request. If you fail to deliver on this request, then you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for any incident or injury resulting from the failure to do so and agree that ‘Brave Monkey’ it not responsible to chase said documents.

Closures, reduced activity periods and session cancellations – Club sessions will cease for at least 2-4 weeks over the Christmas period depending on member needs. enrolments paid for over this period will be credited for club closure in arrears by providing commensurate club enrolment. sessions may be reduced or suspended during school holidays or at any time at our discretion. sessions may be changed at any time without notice according to the discretion of club management based on trainer availability, fitness trends, low session numbers and as deemed necessary by management. As much notice as possible will be given to club members to minimise disruption. Refunds cannot be issued however mutually agreeable enrolment compensation can be investigated if no acceptable alternate session service solutions are possible.

Pensioners/Full Time Students – Must supply card expiry and card number and type details at the beginning of service contracts and update ‘Brave Monkey’ as details change.

I acknowledge that any confusion between other documents or information in respect to my contract terms and conditions with Brave Monkey shall be null and void and revert to this document only.
